 A large painting hand carved and painted in greens, rusts and golds.

Nell has revisited the colour scheme of Wonderland Cabinet II and transferred it onto a flat surface so it can be enjoyed as a piece of striking wall art.The Wonderland Collection takes inspiration from the wooded valley that Nell overlooked in her previous home, particularly a hidden garden, almost a mini arboretum, nestled in the woods.

 Nell uses techniques not dissimilar to sgraffito and intaglio, normally used with clay, to carve and incise onto her favoured material Valchromat. She replaces the CNC router used in her previous collections with a hand held carving tool. 

Valchromat, a composite material made primarily of waste wood comes in several colours, allowing Nell to play with almost limitless colour and design possibilities. 

Wonderland Paintings can be made in any size with a bespoke colour scheme.
